I'm really getting into this blogging thing. It turns out that if I think I might write about something, I put more effort into what I'm doing. Such was the case this morning around 3:00 when I woke up (even before the birdies!). It's not like I have hot flashes or anything, I just wake up! HELLO!
Well, I don't always remember to do EFT (which is really bizarre) but this morning I remembered and stayed persistent and fell back to sleep. Woke up again later still a bit tired and did EFT again, and fell back to sleep again! Yea!! So, I figured this is a great time to do a blog about it considering how many of us have sleep issues (though EFT can be used for anything). Anyway, EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. The founder of EFT, Gary Craig, believes that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system. And because our physical pains are so obviously connected with our emotions, our unresolved negative emotions are major contributors to most physical pains and diseases. EFT is an emotional version of accupuncture - without needles. Merely by tapping on certain meridian points on your body with your fingertips the disruption in the energy system is somehow released. Sometimes immediately. Sometimes with persistance. The nice thing about it is that the sequence of tapping takes only a few seconds, it's painless, and it's always available to me! And I have the tapping routine "in my system" by now, so I only need to do it in my head and get the same results. Yeah! In my HEAD. I only have to imagine doing it. That just blows my mind.
Check it out. You can download a free manual. I learned EFT through the free manual but it really came together for me after I got my first DVD. I'd love to hear from you if this interests you!
